From designer pools for the most beautiful homes, to hotel and spa equipment, to pools where swimming champions challenge human limits. For fifty years, in Italy and around the world, A&T Europe S.p.A. has been synonymous with all this. Founded in 1961, the company from Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN) immediately set its standards in terms of material engineering and technical solutions. Today it dominates the market and is a partner of major sporting events, including the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Beijing and London and the World Swimming Championships in Rome 2009, Shanghai 2011 and Barcelona 2013. The Piscine Castiglione brand was born in 1968. In the following years, thanks to a shrewd policy of acquisitions, A&T was able to preside over the market of components for swimming pools with the Pool’s division. Over the years it has developed an extensive service network that provides assistance and maintenance throughout Italy. When it comes to innovation, A&T is unrivaled and owns the Myrtha, Bluestyle and RenovAction patents. In domestic realizations, technology is combined with style, both in classic solutions called skimmer and in the new overflow pools. In the field of swimming pools for major sporting events, A&T builds new facilities, renovates outdated ones and sets up temporary pools inside stadiums and arenas, to bring competitions virtually anywhere.
It was 2003 when A&T Europe decided to bring payroll processing and personnel administration processes in-house. The first software signed Inaz to enter the company is therefore the classic Paghe.net, the most advanced, flexible and reliable system for all procedures related to the processing of pay slips. The second requirement is an ironclad system for checking admissions, because, as Personnel Administration Manager Daniela Luppi points out, “Good attendance processing is the basis of good payroll processing, and at A&T we manage many different time stamps in many different time slots.” The demand for a solution for staff timekeeping comes with Presenze.net, which is combined with an access control system with time and attendance terminals that makes all procedures simple and streamlined. The Inaz software immediately meets expectations, but, as the saying goes, appetite comes with eating. And, as the years go by, the new request arises: to have a system that, starting from the data provided by the two payroll and attendance software, allows more advanced human resources management processes, providing ad hoc analysis and reporting.
In 2010, A&T also launched Human Resources, the software that integrates and makes available the data provided by Payroll and Time and Attendance and thus allows the actual management of personnel in the myriad of aspects that distinguish it: for example, planning and verifying the training of employees, monitoring their preparation in terms of safety, distributing company benefits, managing the selection of external candidates. Up to less vital tasks for the life of a company, but equally a sign of attention to the people who work there, to which A&T cares a lot, such as sending greetings to employees on their birthdays. “All aspects -comments Giovanni Sinelli, head of the Inaz branch in Cremona that follows A&T- that required a high degree of customization and that make human resource management a fundamental pillar in the development of the organization and its business.” After all, A&T is a company that makes its human energy the key to success. HR Director Angelo Zampella tells us with understandable pride: “We have always faced economic crises, not only in the early 1990s but also in recent years, by focusing on human resources and their training. We continue to hire and select the best people to explore the most promising markets”. The next step in the collaboration between Inaz and A&T can only be linked to this. The company will adopt Personnel Budgets to monitor personnel costs, evaluate company performance and thus make strategic decisions for its future, which will always be oriented towards the growth of A&T and its people.
